delicious minced pork on rice from hankou steak.  this is really good because they actually took the time to cut the pork into small cubes and slowly braise it in sweet soy sauce with fried shallots.  serve it on a bowl of steamed rice and it’s absolutely orgasmic.  ;-)

Tickets for Tasting Table’s Lobster Roll Rumble to benefit Share Our Strength go on sale tomorrow.  I am totally going to be there to stuff my face and hope that these guys win.  It’s on June 7th in NYC, which is a Thursday, so you should go as a pre-game for whatever weekend summer destination you have that involves eating lobster rolls.

(Fun fact: though it makes no difference to anyone anywhere except the dead lobster being eulogized through its transformation into delicious food, I took this photo.)
